I hope you all had a lovely Labor Day Weekend! I took advantage of the three-day weekend to get a jump start editing our honeymoon photos (we took a road trip of the California coast!) I will be releasing them in batches – the first featuring our time in San Francisco.
*For all of you waiting for our wedding photos, they will be released in the upcoming weeks as our photographer is still in the process of editing them!
Ian and I started our honeymoon by flying into San Francisco. We decided to forgo the headache of renting a car in the city and took full advantage of the metro. Our hotel was in the Marina district and we fell in love with Blue Barn – we ate there two nights in arrow!
Since this was not our first time in the City we did not rush around to hit all of the tourist attractions. However, we did take the trek up Lombard St. and visited Chinatown and Union Square to do a bit of shopping.
Since we brought our tripod along on this trip, we decided to retake a few of our “couple” photos at the Painted Ladies and Golden Gate bridge. Let me tell you – the tripod was life changing! While we couldn’t escape the San Francisco fog, the tripod allowed us to take photos together that looked great the first time around. All you selfie takers out there will know how rare that is!
Here are a few shots I took while walking around the City. Thankfully Ian has grown accustom to my frequent stops to get a few shots:) Leaving San Francisco was bittersweet. It is an amazing city full of unique neighborhoods, boutique shops, and delicious food.
Stay tuned as we share the next part of our adventure – the Big Sur!
We LOVED getting a postcard from you and Ian! THANKS!!
