Holiday Gift Set: Homemade Hot Chocolate and Marshmallows

Homemade Hot Chocolate Gift Set

Homemade hot chocolate was a winter staple in our home growing up. Topped with mini marshmallows and a graham cracker for dunking, a mug of hot chocolate was the perfect way to warm up from a day of sledding or doing chores on the farm. Sadly, it has been awhile since I’ve made a batch of hot chocolate to enjoy, but when I was racking my brain for Christmas gift ideas I decided to dust off the family recipe.

Homemade Hot Chocolate Gift Set

Since the recipe makes a fairly large batch of hot chocolate mix you will have enough to gift as well as keep some for yourself! Paired with homemade marshmallows, you can bundle the hot chocolate up into a mini gift set! If all this isn’t enough, feel free to completely spoil your recipient and add a coffee mug into the mix. This gift is sure to knock the socks off anyone on your holiday list!

Turn on the Christmas carols and pour yourself a cup of hot chocolate! It’s time to sit down and get cozy for a holiday craft!

Every year I find it difficult to shop for the men on my list. They fall into two extremes:

  • Their wish list is non-existent
  • Everything on their list is way out of my price range

Therefore, I’m left racking my brain for a gift they would enjoy, but never think to put on their list. Last year I chose to go down the food route with Chocolate Covered Bourbon Oreos. Because let’s be real, you can never go wrong with food! But this year I was in the DIY mood and wanted to switch things up a bit.
