Halloween Goblin Cocktail

Halloween Goblin Cocktail

Whether you are hosting a Halloween party or planning on a cozy evening at home, this spooky Goblin cocktail is sure to put you in the festive mood! Bonus: This simple recipe won’t leave you stranded in a grocery aisle hopelessly looking for obscure ingredients. We’ve all experienced that one too many times! (Darn you, elderflower syrup.)

Halloween Goblin Cocktail

This is a simple cocktail, but you can spice it up by using spooky Halloween gummy candy as a garnish. I choose gummy eyeballs, but if you can’t find them at your grocery store gummy worms would work as well!

Peach Shrub Gin and Tonic

Peach Scrub Gin and Tonic. Refreshing summer cocktail!

The peaches at our local market blanketed the produce section with a sweet aroma. Not being able to withstand this temptation, I filled my basket and headed to the check out. Once I was unloading my groceries I realized I may have gone over board.

Sure, Ian and I love peaches, but as we looked at each other we both knew I made a mistake. There was no way we could eat them all before they went bad.

Peach Scrub Gin and Tonic. Refreshing summer cocktail!

After scrolling through Pinterest and flipping through cookbooks, I settled on trying out a new infused drink – a peach shrub. This concoction involves making a fruit syrup and diluting it with vinegar. I heard shrubs can add a refreshing twist to traditional cocktails and I couldn’t resit using it as a base for the classic gin and tonic.

Fresh Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cocktail

Fresh Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail

When I’m searching for a place to grab drinks with friends I have two requirements: a great atmosphere and a cocktail menu. The emphasis is mainly on the cocktail menu! As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of beer so if I’m going to forgo ordering a glass of water (with a lemon wedge to spice things up!) I need a good cocktail menu.

Fresh Strawberry Lemonade Cocktail

One of my favorite cocktail discoveries was a berry lemonade. It was the perfect blend of sweet and tart, so it was a refreshing drink to cap off a warm summer day. I thought it would be the perfect cocktail to bring along to a BBQ or pool party, so I played around with flavor combinations at home until I came up with this strawberry basil lemonade recipe!
