Turmeric and Honey Face Mask

Turmeric Honey Face Mask

Whenever I walk by the Lush store it takes all of my self control to leave without armfuls of bath bombs, lotion bars and face masks. I would love to pamper myself everyday, but when a single bath bomb costs $7 you have to restrain yourself. To tide myself over between Lush splurges I made my own fresh face mask. It only requires two ingredients and I bet you already have them in your pantry!

Turmeric Honey Face Mask

The best thing about a simple at-home face mask is you can whip it up any time your skin flares up. You don’t need to make a trip into town and spend extra money to wake up the next morning with glowing skin – you just need to mix equal parts honey and turmeric together and voilà! You have the perfect face mask to help reduce redness and leave your skin feeling moisturized.

Don’t get me wrong, I love autumn, but between my surgery and relocating to Milwaukee, our summer slipped by. Therefore, while I may need a jacket to go outside, I’m going to keep the summer spirit alive for a few more weeks.
