Year in Review

When asked “What have you been up to?” or “What’s new?” more often than not I respond with “Not much, you?” In that moment, I honestly cannot think of any accomplishments or interesting stories to share. Therefore, when I looked back on 2014 I was surprised to see all of the little milestones Ian and I have made. Here is a quick snapshot:

1. I landed my first job out of college2. We took a handful of mini trips to Chicago and Milwaukee

3. We got married!

4. Spent a week traveling down the CA coast

5. Attended Ian’s 5^th year high school reunion!

Winter Hike

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays with your families! In an effort to avoid cabin fever we bundled up and went on a hike! This is the same lake Ian and I took our engagement photos, but it has transformed into a winter wonderland. The lake is starting to freeze over and the trees are frosted in snow. We cherished the fact that it was 40˙ out and we were able to enjoy the views without shivering from the cold. It may be awhile before we get another gorgeous day like this!

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all are enjoying a cozy holiday with your loved ones. I will be taking off the rest of the week to spend time with my family and soak in the Christmas cheer.
