Cake pops were all the rage this year! So what better way to ring in 2016 than with Champagne Cake Pop Bites?! These fall into one of my favorite categories – bake goods that look fancy, but are simple to make!
So set a few minutes aside and whip up a batch of these gourmet cake pop bites to bring to a New Year’s Eve Party and wait for the compliments to flood in! Trust me, there won’t be one person who will be able to pass up these sweet treats!
Ingredients:
- 1 box White Cake Mix
- Eggs according to box
- Oil according to box
- Champagne (replace for water)
- 1 16oz can white frosting
- White Chocolate Candy Melts
- Sprinkles (optional)
Directions
- Make the white cake mix according to the instructions on the box. *Replace the measurement of water with champagne
- Let baked cake cool for 30 minutes
- Break the cake apart into tiny crumbs
- Stir in the can of white frosting into the cake crumbs
- Roll cake mixture into 1 inch balls and place on a non-stick surface before placing in the fridge to cool for 30+ minutes
- Melt the white chocolate candy melts in the microwave
- Roll the cake balls in the white chocolate until they are covered in a thin layer
- Place on a non-stick surface and dust with sprinkles
- Let the white chocolate harden before serving
