February is a frustrating month. We are still in the depths of winter but I feel like Spring should be right around the corner. The cold weather and snow covered streets feel more like a nuisance than a blessing. Unfortunately, it will be a few more months until I can enjoy a picnic out in the sunshine. So here’s to staying warm and dreaming of sandy beaches.

With another round of freezing temps I remained homebound for the majority of the week. I was able to catch up on a lot of housework and finish reading the first two books in the Divergent series (anyone else hooked on these books?!). While it was refreshing to have some down time, I am looking forward to getting out of the house this weekend and try a new restaurant in town. Have a great weekend!

This week has been about growth. After an inspiring blog network
twitter chat I decided to take the plunge and purchase my first ad space. I honestly love blogging and hope to expand my audience. I am so thankful for each and every one of you who have been along on this ride with me from the beginning and I can’t wait to see where we are headed. I have big plans for 2014, so keep checking back!
