There is less than a month until the start of spring and I couldn’t be more excited. We got a glimpse of warmer weather this week and I can’t wait until I can put my winter coat into storage. However, with the passing of each month I am reminded of how much we need to get done for our wedding! This weekend Ian and I plan on tackling our registry. Wish us luck!

Winter Festival

Ian and I decided to bundle up and get some fresh air by going to the Winter Festival over the weekend. It was my first time witnessing an ice sculpture competition so we made sure to snap a few pictures to document the occasion. While we enjoyed our time at the festival, our frozen feet and read noses told us it was time to warm up. Luckily the Urban Frog Café was close by so we could re-group and warm up over a game of chess.

{Snow day essentials}

I am not sure if it was the anticipation of Valentine’s Day, but this week seemed to slug along. By Wednesday, I was already dreaming of the weekend. Thankfully, Friday has finally arrived and Ian and I can jump into our weekend plans. We have opted to celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow in order to avoid the crowded restaurants so our evening will consist of a home cooked meal, bottle of wine, and Netflix marathon of the new “House of Cards” season.
