{Indulged in a mid-week coffee fix}

Sticking to my new year’s resolution, I set aside time to catch up with my long-distance friends this week. Between all the meetings, gym time, and errands it was refreshing to sit down and spend quality time with my friends – even if it was over the phone. It proved distance is no barrier to sharing a few good laughs with close friends.  Hope you all have a great weekend!

We all have those moments in life where a single yes or no can change everything. Over the last few months my family has been waiting for my sister to hear if she had been accepted into the UW School of Education. If she received a yes, we all would celebrate and life would go on as normal, but if the opposite happened she would have to consider a new major or even a new university. Need-less-to-say, I have been on pins and needles waiting for her to call me with the news. On Wednesday, the news finally arrived. She got in! I couldn’t be more proud of her and this whole experience made me reflect upon how crazy life is. We are all where we are today due to these little moments and I am grateful for where they all have led me thus far.
