Ian and I are traveling home this weekend for our wedding! I can not believe it is finally here. It has been a long year full of preparations and stressful nights, but we couldn’t be happier to start the next chapter in our life. I thought it would be fitting to share a few photos from the past four years and celebrate how far we have come.

Tower Rock Farmstead Bakery

On a recent trip back home we woke up early and made the scenic country drive to the Tower Rock Farmstead Bakery. It is a quaint little bakery nestled between acres of farm land and the picturesque rock formations. We made quite a haul, bring home muffins, cookies, and cinnamon rolls for the family. My favorite purchase was homegrown and milled pastry and bread flour. For a few dollars above what you would pay at the grocery store, I was able to bring home locally grown flour. If you are ever in the Sauk City area, this is a must!

Where has July gone? It feels like summer is passing by and I barely have the chance to enjoy the season. This week Ian and I realized we needed to step back from our normal routine and have a spontaneous date night. We grabbed drinks at a new lounge and took a sunset stroll on the boardwalk. It was a simple outing, but it gave us a moment to regroup and enjoy the present. I hope you all have a great weekend!
