After waiting anxiously for three months we have our wedding photos! Ian and I sat down over the weekend and scrolled through the album, reminiscing about our wedding day. We feel blessed to have spent the warm, sunny summer day with our friends and family. Here are a few of our favorite shots of the day. All photos are courtesy of Photography by Kait.
Friday Favorites
With half of Ian’s family living in Scotland we do not have many opportunities to spend quality time together. Luckily, one of his cousins is attending grad school in the States and we were able to catch up with her in Chicago. We took the train into the city and are now converts! It was so quick and easy – plus we didn’t get stuck with a $70 parking bill. Hopefully this means we will be taking more frequent trips into the city. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Neighborhood Bike Ride
After a full year in our new town we feel like locals. We can drive to the grocery store without the GPS, recommend restaurants to visitors, and sip coffee at hole-in-the-wall establishments. However, this feeling is only on the surface. We realize there is much more to learn about what our town has to offer and decided to get off the main roads a take a bike ride around our neighborhood.
