After a weekend of wondering “will he or won’t he?!” we got the news that Ian’s work trip would be postponed and he would be home to celebrate my birthday! Knowing we could have be across the country from each other made being together all the sweeter. We are now looking forward to an Easter weekend full of food and family.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

This was one of those weeks that seemed to fly by!  Ian and I attended a St.Patrick’s day celebration, ate at a 50’s drive-in diner, and trudged through a snow day (hopefully our last!) With such a packed week Ian and I both are looking forward to a laid back weekend. Think bubble baths and baking cookies!

You know when you meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in awhile and you start right back where you left off? Well, that’s how I felt after grabbing a drinks with a few of our college friends. It made my heart full to reminisce about our UW-Madison days and have those deep belly laughs. I know life can get in the way of these mini reunions, but I hope we make it a priority to catch up every few months.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
