Where has July gone? It feels like summer is passing by and I barely have the chance to enjoy the season. This week Ian and I realized we needed to step back from our normal routine and have a spontaneous date night. We grabbed drinks at a new lounge and took a sunset stroll on the boardwalk. It was a simple outing, but it gave us a moment to regroup and enjoy the present. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Music in the Vineyard

Our local winery hosts a summer concert series on Saturdays so Ian and I decided to make the drive out to the vineyard last weekend. We spent the evening listening to music, sipping on wine and soaking in the sun. Since they had the vineyard open, we took a stroll through the vines before packing up and embarking on our sunset drive home.

Ian and I have been making frequent trips back home for wedding planning meetings. On our most recent trip we stopped by Indian Lake for a quick hike (it ended up taking 2 hours). The hike takes you through a gorgeous meadow surrounding the lake and winds up into the woods. It’ a great way to enjoy the nice weather and sneak in a weekend workout.
