French Toast Bar

I love a good brunch. A few times a year while growing up we would pack the family in the car and have brunch with my grandparents at the local country club. It was always a special treat to get dressed up and indulge my sweet tooth with a plate of french toast dippers.

I still love the concept of brunch. I mean, we all can agree that breakfast food is the best. Right?! Now add friends and family to the equation and you have a winning combination.

For those days where you would rather avoid the after church brunch rush try making a french toast bar at home! Gather up your favorite toppings and enjoy mixing and matching flavors. My favorite combination was berries and walnuts! YUM!

Protein Balls

Protein-BallsGuys, this is my fourth batch of these chocolate chip protein balls! They help curb my sugar cravings and keep me away from our snack drawer. So I would say that is a win!

I love that they are portable and can easily be thrown in your purse. They may save you from letting your hunger talk you into buying a Cinnabon or a grande s’more frappacino. Thanks for that temptation, Starbucks…

Pesto Balsamic Fries

Remember that restaurant served me my first Cuban sandwich? Well, they have shocked my taste buds once again with their pesto balsamic French fries! Seriously, these are so good you will want to lick your plate.

Since I can’t always make it out to the restaurant every time a craving hits I found a way to make these at home. And guess what?! They are super easy!!

Want to be gormet? Slice up a potato and roast your own french fries? Hungry right now? Then pop in a bag of pre-prepared fries. Once they are nice and golden toss in pesto and drizzle with balsamic glaze.
