There is less than a month until the start of spring and I couldn’t be more excited. We got a glimpse of warmer weather this week and I can’t wait until I can put my winter coat into storage. However, with the passing of each month I am reminded of how much we need to get done for our wedding! This weekend Ian and I plan on tackling our registry. Wish us luck!

I am not sure if it was the anticipation of Valentine’s Day, but this week seemed to slug along. By Wednesday, I was already dreaming of the weekend. Thankfully, Friday has finally arrived and Ian and I can jump into our weekend plans. We have opted to celebrate Valentine’s Day tomorrow in order to avoid the crowded restaurants so our evening will consist of a home cooked meal, bottle of wine, and Netflix marathon of the new “House of Cards” season.  I hope you all enjoy your weekend and have a happy Valentine’s Day!

February is a frustrating month. We are still in the depths of winter but I feel like Spring should be right around the corner. The cold weather and snow covered streets feel more like a nuisance than a blessing. Unfortunately, it will be a few more months until I can enjoy a picnic out in the sunshine. So here’s to staying warm and dreaming of sandy beaches.
