This week I was reminded how lucky I am to be in good health. Sometimes I feel I take this for granted, but after celebrating a co-worker’s heart transplant I realize just how lucky I am. So this weekend I am going to take a step back and enjoy all the other little things I never stop to think about; a warm shower, fridge full of food and a comfy bed to fall asleep.

On a lighter note, here are a few photos from our trip to Milwaukee. I hope you all have a great weekend!

Weekly-Update{The Little Market provides support to artisans around the world. Go check them out!}

Today feels like Christmas. After two weeks on site in Selma, AL Ian is flying home!! Thankfully, my family took me under their wing and planned a weekend extravaganza while he was away. We took a trip to the Vilas Zoo, shopped at Hildale and visited my favorite stores on State Street. While it was amazing to be back in Madison and spend quality time with my family, I have missed my husband. So this weekend I am looking forward to being reunited and catching up with Ian’s Mom and Grandma while they are in town.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

After a weekend of wondering “will he or won’t he?!” we got the news that Ian’s work trip would be postponed and he would be home to celebrate my birthday! Knowing we could have be across the country from each other made being together all the sweeter. We are now looking forward to an Easter weekend full of food and family.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
